I’ve been looking for the perfect wedding guest dress for a couple weeks now. Being a larger size, it’s not normally a fun task. That being said, I thought I found something doable from Amazon and was ordering the Hedda sweater here to wear with it. Saw this Lola dress in Ashe rose in my size (XXL) on clearance and according to the size chart it looked like it might actually fit *gasp* I was iffy, considering it was a final sale but with the steep discount decided to go for it.
HOLY. 💩 this dress fits PERFECTLY, makes my hourglass shape look like a goddess, and is actually comfortable. Immediately returned my other dress. Other plus side? It looks stunning with the Hedda sweater in cream that I picked up too 😉

I do love the dress and wore it to a wedding. I will say that the underskirt is very short I had to wear a slip under it. I am not sure if that is a sizing issue or a height issue. I normally wear a size 8 so ordered a Medium. I am 5'9 and 145lbs

Fabric is wonderful, red color is gorgeous, the shape and accents of this dress are incredible. The issue for me is the sizing. I am thicker and usually a 10-14 depending on brand. I had never tried this company before. I went based of the size chart. I usually run into some issue because I’m not so heavy on the top. However I knew with this type of style there’s normally wiggle room for my hips, butt and thighs. Welp I was wrong. I should’ve ordered the large and even then I think it would’ve been to big up top. Sadly this was a final sale so I can’t return and I’m not even sure it’s good for alterations. They need to do a better job at for description because there is wiggle room to size a bit down rather than follow the size chart.
