I was nervous to order based on the reviews, but I’m so glad I took a chance. I can see how it causes issues for many, the cut isn’t forgiving in the bust/waist areas…I think I simply got lucky with the fit this time. The length is good for me too, it would work with flats or heels. I ordered a small and it fit perfectly for these measurements:
Bra size 30D, height 5’6”, waist 26”
Hip measurement shouldn’t matter as it flares out from the waist.
The straps are adjustable, and it worked fine with a strapless bra even though the back looked really low in the pictures.
This dress is so beautiful. I got it for a family photo shoot in Hawaii. Everything fit well except the bust. It was ridiculously small. I am not at all well endowed, but could not at all squeeze into the XL. Of course there were no XXL left so I need to find another mommy daughter duo I love. Others have also mentioned the bust area is small.

Unfortunately the size didn't work so I had to return it. A bigger size isn't available. Currently waiting on email containing store credit code to order something else. But it's beautiful
For reference I am 5’10” 145lbs, I wear 32D bra, and bought a medium. The length of the dress is perfect! This dress is great for photos. It great quality and has amazing flow for those beautiful moving shots. But it was WAY too tight in the chest even without a bra. It gave me a a line in my bust that unfortunately is noticeable in several of my shots (see photo). However I don’t think sizing up would have helped because the small straps did not want to stay up on the medium. Overall it’s a decent dress but if you’re chesty maybe consider a different one.
